Burke Mtn Trails
From the Burke summit you have the choice of three trails. One is new this season, it decends on the west side and leads to J-Bar, a Kingdom Trailsclassic that previously required a grueling fire road climb to access. The DH trail is a fun intermediate, and the Freeride Trail is super tech with mandatory drops, gaps and very steep fall line riding. These trails descend about 1000 feet and are strictly downhill.
At this point the trail crosses the toll road so you can catch the shuttle to the top again or continue down on one of five trails, all intermediate with a flow factor that is off the charts. These trails lead to the Burke Mtn Sherburne Lodge where you will again have the option to catch the shuttle back up. You will have descended a total of 2000 vertical feet, but wait! Its not over yet, from here you have the option of two trails that take you down the remaining 500 feet to the village of East Burke.
